Shipbuilding and Linen were Belfast’s exporting gold. These industries gave Belfast worldwide status that attracted tradesmen and women from all over Ireland to settle and make a better life for themselves.
A few years ago this area was dull and derelict. Now it’s a space buzzing with life and opportunity. It’s the new Belfast skyline for me. A welcoming ‘hello’ and a clear indication you’re in Belfast.
